Finding Answers in Silence
Sometimes, the most profound answers come not from words, but from silence. Silence allows us to reflect on our lives and question existence itself. Among the most debated subjects is religion. Some see it as a naive answer to life’s toughest questions;a construct designed to ensure moral behavior and self-reflection. The idea of a Deity motivates people to act responsibly, knowing their actions may have consequences. Those who hold this view often value good deeds more than belief in God itself.
The Mask of Hypocrisy
The majority of the world’s population believes in a supernatural being. Yet, ironically, some believers behave worse than non-believers. In the light of day, they pray; in the shadows, they prey. Such hypocrisy raises some of the most puzzling questions about humanity. At times, it is almost impossible to distinguish an atheist from a believer. Both eat, sleep, drink, and live their lives in similar ways. Asking someone about their beliefs is often unreliable as many conceal their true views. The only genuinely honest reflection of belief resides in the heart and soul, something no device can measure.
The Mystery of Death
Everyone fears death, and that is undeniable. Yet what happens after death has inspired endless speculation. Believers and non-believers alike form their own ideas about the afterlife. The Bible offers a glimpse of what may follow, but even its followers question it, wondering if there is another possibility. Ironically, no one has ever returned from death to provide a firsthand account. It is in this uncertainty that some believers waver.
Judgment Day
Judgment Day presents another point of divergence. Some believe it exists; others do not. Parousia(the Second Coming) represents either the end of the beginning or the beginning of the end. Either way, it is the moment when consequences are unavoidable, where “the rubber meets the road.”
Meditation
Silence, when approached with focus and meditation, can provide tangible evidence of God’s existence. But understanding requires patience, reflection, and a willingness to listen beyond the noise of the world.
